Haiti Earthquake Stimulus Package for Entrepreneurs

Since 2017, the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce has been investing in the entrepreneurs of Haiti through our Business, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership (BEL) Initiative program. Time after time, these entrepreneurs have proven resilient in the face of hurricanes, economic downturns, insecurity, the pandemic, and more. Today, in the wake of a devastating 7.2-magnitude earthquake, they are standing again, and with your partnership they shall overcome.

Purpose of this Campaign

To fund the Haiti Earthquake Stimulus Package for the alumni of the BEL Initiative whose businesses have been impacted by the earthquake. This investment will provide the shot in the arm they need to restock, retool, and reboot their businesses and continue to provide goods and services to the affected communities.

Use of Funds:

To keep existing businesses running, and continue to stimulate economic development and growth, we shall invest in the 47 alumni of the BEL Initiative, based on needs, as follows:

  • Buy raw materials to replenish spoiled or destroyed inventory.
  • Repair/replace essential machinery, tools, etc.
  • Provide funds to replace lost revenues and sustain operations through the crisis.
  • Run crisis and risk management programs to equip business owners with the strategies and tactics they need to deal with the current situation, and stay in business.

Managing Organization

The Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Your contributions to fund the Haiti Earthquake Stimulus Package are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
